I know it’s been a while. It’s been so long I took 15 minutes trying to remember my password so it’s unnecessary for you to reiterate that undeniable fact. With this entry I’m not even necessarily announcing my return because I couldn’t tell you when I will have time again to blog. But I’m here now dammit and I’m mad.
Okay.
A while ago I wanted to bring charges against the Bush administration for crimes against the American people and breach of contract. Some may have taken that in a tongue in cheek manner but people I’m serious and probably more so now than I’ve ever been. Dubya is spying on America now! Can somebody say McCarthy? Look people it’s crystal clear that the Orwellian nightmares outlined in the novel “1984” are becoming more and more our reality as opposed to the fiction that is inspiring it. And people hear me when I say this; they’re starting in Small Town Near You, USA first. Federal grant money raised, in this “War on Terror”, funds towns like Beaverton Falls, VT population 3,050 to put up sixteen 24-hour surveillance camera, while Washington, DC which has over half a million residents within its city limits and an additional million plus in the immediate metro area has just nineteen.
The Federal Government is illegally wiretapping its constituency, digging into their email accounts and demanding that service providers turn over records to that they can look even further into your lives.
“But this is all done to protect us from the terrorists though. We have to give up something to gain that reassurance of safe American living.”
WTF? Are you serious? Look people WHAT is “Terrorism”? Lets use “their” definition. terrorism is defined by the US Department of Defense as "the unlawful use of -- or threatened use of -- force or violence against individuals or property to coerce or intimidate governments or societies, often to achieve political, religious, or ideological objectives."
Okay.
The unlawful use. Illegal wiretaps. Disregard for the Constitution on numerous occasions during this administration. Going to war on a lie is not breaking the law, unless you break the contract with America in doing so.
Force or violence against individuals or property to coerce or intimidate governments or society. When you force people every day with color coded, vague and erratic “alerts” and constant pressure to deal with mentally and psychologically the “unseen enemy”, you wind up coercing or intimidating segments of your society to condone that which is illegal and unethical in the name of safety from self fabricated fear.
Often to achieve political, religious, or ideological objectives. Dubya was able to steal the presidency TWICE because of his political association with his dad, he claimed Christ as his savior, and enough conservatives of clout and influence were in Congress, the Senate, Florida and Ohio.
THE TERRORISTS ARE RESIDING AT 1600 PENNSYLVANIA AVE, WASHINGTON, DC 20500!!!! GET THE ARMY, NAVY, MARINES AND MOVE IN ON THEM IMMEDIATELY!
In my brief stint working for the Federal Government one of the main things I took from the experience is that you say what you say over and over again in an effort to get to the point where you may believe it yourself even when you know it isn’t true.
This morning. Bush on the wiretap program. “The program’s legal, it’s designed to protect civil liberties, and it’s necessary.”
Lil John says What!?!?!?!
By trampling on and disregarding civil liberties you are protecting them?
It gets better. When asked if he would allow Congress to work on a “legal” path to implement what he’s ALREADY FUCKING DOING! He had this to say. “It’s so sensitive that if information gets out about how the program works, it will help the enemy...Why tell the enemy what we’re doing?”
Ladies and Gentleman, citizens of America, I present to you the enemy. Raise your mirrors in front of you now and take a good look at him(/her). We are the enemy of the current administration simply because of one simple fact. Greed feeds greed. Too many rich and powerful and powerful and rich people are pulling the marionette strings on the doll known as Dubya including his father, some princes in Saudia Arabia as well as Dick Rumsfeld and Don Chaney (no-typo). These people are getting RICHER off of our fear driven lives and the machinery it takes to run it. As a result we are losing our freedom to do silly things like email our genitalia to friends and family, tell a secret or two on that late night long distance call or Heaven and Steven Spielberg forbid even think certain things. Wake up America before your government implements their mandatory bed time for you.

I, for one, new you were serious about bringing charges. Its group brainwashing I tell you! I mean, if you watch television long enough - with the bombardment of weight watcher type commercials - even the skinniest person begins to believe he is fat. And it certainly appears that whenever elections are on the horizon or Bush slides down (instead of up) various polls, a Bin Laden tape suddenly pops up to reinforce our fears.
Mak you are right on spot with this post. Darni is right, how convenient that tape was. If you tell the lie over and over again, people will start to believe the lie.
